What areas do you serve?
We’re based out of Olympia, WA and regularly serve Western Washington from Seattle to Southern Lewis County. For the right event, we’re happy to travel – just let us know your location when requesting a quote.
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and larger events, we recommend booking 3-9 months in advance. For smaller events, not as much time is common. Feel free to reach out and check if we are free to work your event, even on short notice we will make it happen if we are available.
How do I get a quote?
You can request a quote through email (Andrew@OlympiaSound.com), or call us (360-789-4035) directly. We’ll ask a few questions about your event (date, location, size, and needs) and provide a clear, upfront estimate.
* Equipment & Technical Questions
Do you provide your own sound and AV equipment?
Yes. We provide professional-grade audio, lighting, and AV equipment tailored to your event size and venue. This includes speakers, microphones, mixers, DJ gear, lighting, and more.
What size events can you handle?
We support everything from small private gatherings to large weddings, concerts, and corporate events with hundreds of attendees. We scale the system appropriately so you get clean, powerful sound- never overkill, never under-powered.
Do you have backup equipment?
Absolutely. Redundancy is built into our setup. We bring backup gear for critical components so your event stays on track even if something unexpected happens.
Can you work with live bands, DJs, and presenters?
Yes. We regularly work with live bands, DJs, speakers, panel discussions, and hybrid setups. We coordinate directly with performers or event staff to ensure smooth transitions and proper sound throughout the event.
* Weddings & Special Events
Do you offer both DJ and sound services for weddings?
Yes. We can provide DJ Services, ceremony sound, reception sound, lighting, or a full wedding package covering the entire day- from ceremony to the last song.
Can you coordinate with our venue or wedding planner?
Definitely. We’re happy to communicate directly with your planner, venue staff, or coordinator to handle logistics, load-in times, and technical requirements- so you don’t have to worry about it.
Do you handle outdoor events?
Yes. Outdoor events are very common for us. We require cover from rain and a source of power, if possible. Otherwise, we can formulate a plan to suit the conditions.
* Pricing & Policies
How is pricing structured?
Pricing depends on factors like event length, equipment needs, and amount of technicians needed. We offer transparent, upfront pricing. No surprise fees.
Is a deposit required?
It depends. A deposit is not required for all events, except weddings. A deposit is required for weddings to secure your date, with the remaining balance due before or on the day of the wedding. Details are outlines clearly in the wedding contract.
What if our event runs longer than planned?
We understand that events can run long. Overtime rates are discussed in advance and outlined in your agreement so there are no surprises.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are included in our contract and depend on how far in advance the event is cancelled. We’re always fair and communicative about this.

Are you insured?
Yes. Olympia Sound is fully insured, and we can provide proof of insurance upon request.
Do you provide contracts?
For all weddings, yes. For other events, it is case by case basis. If contracts are your preference, we can get one together for us.
How do you dress on-site?
We dress appropriately for the event. Typically all black or professional attire, and maintain a clean, organized setup. We aim to blend into your event while delivering excellent sound and service.
